📌 Manage roles and set appropriate permissions.

Manage roles and permissions to limit access to the portal modules and module functionalities by following these steps:

Remember!

Only an Administrator can set the appropriate permissions.

  1. Click Manage Roles inside the Users module.

  1. The Module Access column allows you to grant permission to view a module.

The list of available modules is as follows:

ModulesDescription
EditorThe module to edit the verification flows' content, branding, and colours.
Remote VerifyThis module will send out verifications, which the users can complete in their own time without assistance. This enables the portal user to create the transaction remotely.
User ManagementThis module allows you to manage, add, delete, and edit users and roles within the system.
ReportsView analytics and reports for both completed and incomplete transactions.
DeveloperThis module gives access to the API integration settings, such as the API key, and to the developer documentation.
RepositoryThis module allows you to view and manage completed verifications and results, including those passed (Status Completed-Pass) and those flagged and raised for attention (Status Completed-Flagged).
SupportThis module gives IDVerse's Jira service desk access for submitting support requests.
SettingsThis module gives access to company details, retention settings, activating document verification, SMS details, and overall document support.

Set Permissions

The “Module Access” column allows you to grant permission to view a module, signified by the title.

Suppose you only need a Customer Service role to manage remote verification, user management, and reports. Follow the steps below to set up the desired permissions.

  1. Select Customer Service from Roles.
  1. Uncheck all other modules in the Module Access column and select Remote Verify, User Management, and Reports.

  1. The “Module Specific Permissions” column allows you to fine-tune permissions within that module. Select a module from the Module Access Column.
  1. Specify Module Specific Permissions as needed and click Close to save changes.

Modify User Roles

Follow the steps below to modify user roles:

  1. Click on the user you want to modify the role of.
  1. Choose the desired user's role from the Permissions drop-down menu.
  1. Click the Save button.
